This is much much loved R100RS.
The photo is a few years old but I can't find anything else more recent that has been digitized.
Having a little rest presently whilst I get ready for the full rebuild and proper restoration.

I've spent the last year getting my 1974 Stornello back on the road....last registered for road use in 1988, and last run over 10 years ago. Not a resto, just a strip down and get back together...with very little money spent, because I don't have any.

Still running 40 year old tyres, I paid $17 each for them - but it was the 42 year old chain that failed. This is how I came home a couple of months ago.

I've haven't had the TLR200as long, gave it a frame up rebuild in 2001 to start riding it in Twinshock Trials in 2002, to replace my KT250. Last year brought it up to the latest specs with footpegs down and back 25mm, gutted the exhaust, fitted a K&N and opened up the airbox, advanced the cam 6 deg, fitted a 9 tooth sprocket. Hardly used it since - I haven't done a trial for a year....I think I may have given up.

Not surprising the chain broke ........ looking at the amount of donuts behind you. :D

I have a fondness for old small capacity Italian bikes. There is something about them that similar British bikes just didn't have. I mean compare that Stornello or my first bike a Ducati Monza 160 to a BSA Bantam. I know which I'd have.
I know the Stornell is a 4 stroke and not a 2 stroke even if the the usual visual clues are not so obvious. It must have been an Italian thing at the time as the Gilera 150 had a similar unisex look. That's another nice Italian I wouldn't mind acquiring.
