An R65 with some additions...
Can't find much about the Italian behind the creation in English, just wondered if anybody knew more?
-
The only thing I can say for user is that tank probably cost as much as the rest of the bike. Hoske tanks are not cheap.
-
Why on earth would anyone put that tank on a race bike. It would only make it slower particular if it was filled with fuel. If you are going to ask that sort of price for an R65 then a fairy story is essential.
-
It's "art"..... it doesn't have to make any sense! LOL
Seriously though 8500 pounds for bitsa-modified R65.... the owners must be on the weed wacky and the delusion serious... Admittedly the Hoske tank would easily sell for 1500 pounds equivalent here, that still means the rest of the R65 is more than 6500 pounds, and I'd expect a much more special/custom treatment (such as titanium, handlaid carbon fiber bodywork, etc. But at least Borani rims made it onto there).
Not my cuppa for that chunk of money.
-
Eight and a half grand? No way its worth that sort of money, still a nice look bike.
-
An abomination. Hoske tanks were all about more fuel an no style.
An ill thought out Café Racer from a 'chancer', if ever I saw one. You gotta admire his 'neck' though!
Some yuppy, with more money than sense, will buy it though.
Just my opinion though.

I agree, IMO, hideous.
And top money!
