Forgive me if this has already been discussed here, but have y'all seen the R65LS listed on Ebay with a Pichler fairing installed? I may be missing something, but she looks like a complete beauty! 8-)

Doggone.. I sure miss my Pichler. It looks better in black, of course.

On a related note.. anybody have any thoughts about round vs. square headlights? Pichler seems to be defunct so I'm considering switching to a different fairing, but most seem to have round headlights.

So how does an R65LS wind up with a square headlight? Looks a lot like my K75s fairing.

I suspect, especially based on these images http://www.pichler.de/Pages/preisvere.htm, that it was part of the pichler package to convert to a square headlight. My bike isn't an LS, just the regular monoshock that shares chassis and whatnot with the R80.

It looks quite nice - except that I don't like what they did to the seat on that red one - a custom 1-up seat is fine, in concept, but that one just looks weird to me.

I had a Pichler on my R100 and it looked nice. It was fine until on the interstate following a truck or in a cross wind. The first time behind a truck, I pulled off the highway to see which wheel was falling off. That thing would wobble the bike so bad, it was scarey to ride in traffic.
While a cross wind will blow the now naked bike around some, with the Pichler it would blow into the next lane.
Not a fun ride.
