A PINK BMW airhead with a pink JAWA sidecar for sale in Brewster, NY - It doesn't appear to be an officially affiliated sponsorship for Cure for Breast Cancer, but this person definitely wanted it to look so. I don't know if they intend to take the proceeds and donate it or not? Hmm.
Definitely an interesting styling/painting exercise, but aside from parades I am sure it would have its own "Delay Factor" even without being a URAL!

The bit that caught my eye was:-
"MOTOR & ASSEMBLY - HEIDS HODAKA & BMW ".
Long, long ago
I owned a Hodaka "Combat Wombat," in fact I learned to ride the trails on it.
I wish I was in as good condition as this one :-

Dang!!! It would take a pretty secure guy in his manhood to ride that one! You certainly wouldn't catch me on that one. It's kinda like the old joke about how a scooter and a fat girl are similar - fun to ride but wouldn't want your friends to see you.
I am curious to see if it ever sells. I can't imagine it going for more than four or five grand.

I like that, shows we all still young at heart or from the ladies perspective that we never grow up. Both are true.

It always amazes me when people paint things pink and think its a good idea. Whether it be a car, motorbike, or plane or boat..
In this case, for a very good reason, but more usually its to impress a girlfriend/wife/daughter, etc.
You might as well spend the morning flushing £50 notes down the toilet....
At my sailing club we had a pair of parents who spent not an inconsiderable amount of money professionally painting a sailing dinghy pink for their daughter, who then promptly gave up sailing. Not only did they lose all the money they spent painting the boat, but they also lost half the value of the boat. They more than halved their chances of selling it as not every girl wants a pink boat, and no young lad would be seen dead in it! Consequently it sat around the club and deteriorated, until it was eventually sold for half the original purchase price and the buyers had factored in a complete repaint! Seemed like a good idea at the time though :D
