Wonder what was on this weekend, Just travelled back from Manchester in crappy weather heavy snow over the Pennines (Saddleworth moor) loads of German registered bikes traveling East presumably heading for the ferry at Hull. Sadly saw a couple of old Airheads broken down R80,s i think. They had recovery vehicles with them but i cannot imagine why they were travelling in those conditions or where they may have been.

Nothing on that I'm aware of Lou.
Then I've spent most of the weekend in the garage wrestling with replacing a broken suspension spring on my car. Thanks to Mr Haynes I wasted a lot of time trying to do it the wrong way.

I usually see a lot of German bikers around the IOM TT on the M62 but not at this time of year, there must have been something going on to travel that far !!.
I have Haynes manuals for both the R and K not encountered too many problems but the Clymer manual for the R has better electrics.
Son in Law had a "mare" doing his Subaru suspension best thing for the Haynes on that one was as a tyre stop.
