Title: Dual Sport Conversion

I've got a 96 R8505R that I've has for years. It's been a great, but now I'm thinking dual purpose. I've been trying to sell the 850 and use the  proceeds to by a GS. Recently, I've been thinking I should consider a dual sport conversion for the 850. Any thoughts? Any resources our there for what I'd need to all consider and do. Thanks.

Put some knobbies on it and off you go...
As long as you keep it out of the air.. You'll be fine..

If you want to hard core off road.. Well.. Better sell it and get a real off road bike..

Just going to do kind of a light conversion, with all changes reversible. Here's my general blueprint.
