Title: I'm going to do it!

I'm going to sell my RT - Love the bike but I like my Ultra Classic better - I just don't need 2 touring motorcycles - It will also be nice to have a little elbo room in the garage - I listed it on Craigs today - I have offered some good trades but I'm after space - It's just as good as the Harley in many ways - Maybe better in some ways - I just really like the feel, fit & looks of mu Classic - I had a couple of buyers for the RT this winter but I just wasn't ready to sell it - Not many 2000 RT's around with only 12K miles! - tom

Well crap! Bike was on Craigs List for 3 hours - SOLD - At least I got a healthy deposit - will pick it up tomorrow - I'll miss it - great bike - tom

Yeah! I just sold my extra table saw, so I know how you feel.  I'm sure we'll both fill up that extra space in no time flat though... :D

I hope not - I really enjoy being able to have a little extra space - removing one bike really helped! tom

Of all your bikes, that was probably the best choice to sell given its core functionality, plus the fact that it just isn't holding its value nearly as much as a late model H-D, or slowly appreciating in value again like the airheads..

All the bikes are paid for so that wasn't an issue but all the bikes must have insurance & license tabs - The insurance on the airheads is dirt cheap but was a little expensive for the RT & since I hardly ever rode it i felt it was the best to sell it  - i like the 1100 better than the new 1200's - one day if i get to the point where i can't handle a 900 pound Ultra Classic i would consider another one - but for now i'm good - tom
