A couple of news items caught my eye in the link below:
Heroic BMW
Getrag are no longer to supply BMW with gearboxes. Won't affect us but end of an era. Though I suppose that started ages ago with the non German 650 singles.
France Is Cracking Down
Motorcyclist in France are to be required to wear dayglo jackets.
And again in France it seems born again bikers may have to take a mandatory test. Sensible stuff but the thin end of a wedge we might not like.

I wonder who will begin supplying the gearboxes. My guess would be an Asian manufacturer.

Those "thin ends" are creeping in to every part of our lives. Won't be long before they have us by the short hair, if not ALREADY.
