I work for IBM and have seen a lot of that in the last few days. Download the free version of MalwareBytes Antimalware, update it and run a full system scan. I'm sure if will shock you all the nasty things it finds and removes.

+1. I picked up a trojan that shut my laptop down completely while on a business trip. I rebooted in safe mode & updated Malwarebytes and scanned. It found the trojan and binned it. I now keep it up to date always

Download the free version of MalwareBytes Antimalware,

That did the trick, thanks. I had AVG and it was out matched on this one. I ran malwarebytes and it got all but one.

I had a clinger on firefox that was redirecting all my searches. I ran it once more and it found 3 more bad guys and now I'm clean again.

Thanks Guys for the tip.
