Just saw this on Craigslist. Another R45 on the West Coast? Although it looks like an R65LS to me.

Looks like a nice, clean R45 with the optional factory windscreen to me. Given the rarity of these things over here, I think that it would get picked up pretty soon. I like the windscreen - looks similar in shape to that which was on the KAwasaki GPz550 (another favorite of mine from the early 1980s)..

Its kinda the reverse over here R45's seem to be easy enough to pick up, but R65's are more rare, makes sense that the R45 was popular on our little island.

I can confirm the suggested 55 - 60 MPG (US) is realistic. I'm getting those sort of figures from mine in the summer.

It's local but not tempting to me. I can make do with 45 mpg. That is not the same one that I saw at Steve Prokop's shop in Dundee, so that makes two in Oregon.
