Title: Bluetooth com systems

Hi ,I am considering getting a bluetooth com system and am asking for any feedback/experience anyone here might have. Also opinions re: performance of the various offerings out there.

I have a Cardo system bluetooth system. It's great but pricey. Use it with a pillion, or bike to bike. Very easy to set up.

I have a pair of ScalaRider Q2. An excellent bike to pilion ( obviously!) The range really depends on the terrain. Line if sight , up to about 500m. A bit like a bike really, that is; better on the open road than in built up areas. I use them in AGV Longway helmets and the Vox system is sometime activated by wind noise if the helmet is flipped up. I have found these to be so good, we also got them in our company for MC escort and recce services. Good value for money but make sure you read all the instructions first. The built in FM radio can be a bit iffy, and volume for the MP3 player can only be adjusted from the player itself. Beware of cheap copies from the evil empire!
