I was looking at the Honda yesterday .....i found the fairing off putting as the ride position seemed strange?? maybe something you get used to, i actually went to the Harley open day next door saw one bike i really liked but the pool of oil under it put me off !!! not a good advert for the brand. 1000 pound deposit ($1500)if you wanted a test drive .....hey ho wheres the BM dealer.

I also sat on the Honda -- it's certainly not a bike for me. Weird seating position.
I brought it into this thread because, even moreso than it seems in the photo, the bike has a very "designed" look to it. (Over-designed, IMHO.) It reminds me of a Studebaker Avanti somehow.

Makes you wonder what they had in mind as it seems im not the only one who found it a bit weird.

Whatever happened to Henderson?
Is this the same Henderson who made the inline four and the Ace model my Dad had sometime back in the mid-20's? I understood that that Henderson went to Excelsior or Indian or both but wasn't very financially astute so couldn't keep up his own Henderson line. Had a brother too. Maybe numbers weren't their forte? One Henderson I thought had a fair bit of design input into the Indian Four????? Yes/No????
Less stressful just getting a paycheck!

Every now and then I see something that takes my breath away.
This is what did it today...
the 1949 Moto Major 350

Stunning. 8-) This is right up there with BMW's R7. Look at those wheels -- aparently that is the suspension -- rubber cylinders interlaced between the hubs and the rims. Art deco at its finest.

Thanks for the pics of the Henderson! Waaaay cool!
