Sent one of our members that embarked on a round the world trip on his '81 R65 an email about 3 months ago, just got his reply this morning .
He forgot his user name and password, hasn't pursued getting back on line here .
I sent him his user name, he should be able to retrieve his password and start posting again .
I'm sure he has some stories to tell .

He hasn't finished his trip report yet, says he may well get to it this Summer some time .
He's got his whole trip into a book form, thinking about publishing it some time in the future .

Thanks for finding this Bob. Very interesting. Seeing the dateline from 2008 makes me wonder about the ending, much less the beginning of the adventure. I'll have to check the Adventure Riding forum to see if there is any more posted over there.

Don't bother checking else where, he only posted on this site, and has not gotten around to finishing it up .

Looks like an interesting trip.
Wonder how the trusty R65 is holding up?

In his email, he said he just came back from a 500 mile ride in Scotland .
The bike isn't in the greatest of condition cosmetically, but it is in great mechanical condition .
