Too bad.
I missed this deal posted on the Airheads Beemer Club Digest today. Gone in <1 hour.   Monte

My bike is going out the garage for frickin' free ... I'm too busy with other projects to ride this bike:

        New front brakes complete:
                Master cylinder, large disc, Galfer pads, Spiegler braided Stainless line
        Rebuilt ignition canister
        Omega alternator and diode board installed
        New Nippon denso starter
        New needle valves & seats
        Half of a major service performed
        Light throttle springs

        1999:
        Lubed the tranny splines, replaced rear paralever bearings and both boots
        New ignition lock
        New trans seals front and rear
        New throwout bearing
        New coil

        WP Sport shock new in 1998
        Has a Corbin saddle

Parts:
        Comes with a clear Parabellum windshield with a Laminar Lip
        Progressive fork springs in the box
        Fork rebuild kit - seals, bushings - in the box

I gotta throw the BS flag on that one.  Nobody just gives away a bike unless it a gift.  Or maybe an ex-wife!  Now that I would believe.

I've been considering buying my ex-wife a bike, to replace the one (hers) we sold a few years before the divorce.

Guilt is a heavy burden.
