Did you do that thing today??
Inquiring minds and all, ya know... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
-
he he he.... ;)
-
Yep - stick a fork in me. I'm DONE! Well done!
The boss has already asked who the heck he should call with all his questions after I left. I told him I was available AS A CONSULTANT. :)
I was pleasantly surprised when we finally finished up tonight (at almost 10pm!) that he asked me to come back by one day next week and we'd have a party after hours for me. 8-)
I don't think it has really sunk in just yet. We'll see how bored I get after a couple of weeks. I won't complain, though!!!

Too cool.
So decent, honest, hard working people do actually sometimes live to enjoy an early retirement, huh!
[size=14]Total and complete congratulations [/size] [smiley=beerchug.gif], and we'll be seeing you guys again soon up at Will's!! Dinner's on me!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
...ain't it just great when good things happen to good people... [smiley=laugh.gif]

Did you see I put Willville on the map? (well, the R65 Google map - Aïda is the one that "put them on the map"!) :D
-
Yes, Rob I DID notice - I was planning on coming by one of those threads and mentioning it . . . I just was TOO tired last night to find the one I was thinking of. Oh, I know - The gathering of the Clans. I forget, is Willville on the way for you or not?
You da man, Rob! 8-)
Steve - Thanks! Graham retired when he was 49, so he's my mentor. ;D I'm really only partially retired - I still have some work I do from home - whenever I feel like it. ;D
Life is good. We're headed up to Willville tomorrow. Sorry you can't make it this weekend. Make sure you let us know when you manage to get SCJohn up there so we can plan that weekend as well.

Well, I pass by it if I take the route that takes me past Charleston, WV. But it would be out of my way to try and make it a over-night stop on the way to the Gathering.

Gee, must be nice! I figure by the time I can retire I won't be able to do much but crawl and hobble around the house...
Congrats! [smiley=beatnik.gif]

Where's the jealous smiley? Congratulations! I'm about nine and a half years behind you.
-
I will retire when I take my last breath.
-
Yay for you Aïda! Congratulations! I'm sure you have plenty to do to keep yourself busy.
I wish I could retire, but I'm thinking in about 4 years I'll be able to, if I can find a job to retire from. :o
Well, I probably won't even be totally retired then. I'll be doing something to be bringing in some extra money for those motorcycle trips I want to take! 8-)

That's really where I am now. I just left the BMW dealership, I still do some work from home - maybe 12 hours a month. Just enough to keep some play money coming in. ;)
-
Just practice using the following line:
"I don't know how I ever had time to go to work!"
:)
Congrats on your retirement!

Congratulations Aïda!!! I can tell you right here and now you are going to love this!!! I've been retired for sometime..no money honey but, I never have "nothin' to do. Always something to do or think about or plan for....Hee, Hee, can ya tell I am happy!! Spring is here and there is more spring I bet in your step!
Just wait until I get this Alaska thing out of the way this summer. Next summer I want to do Willville and get NC way again!! Maybe the National will be somewhere we can all meet and go riding together!!!
