Title: Motorcycle A/C... No, really!

The cost would probably be pretty damn high, but it is still a "cool" idea....  ;)

My motorcycle A/C is works really good December through February......most too good. But some how it just doesn't seem to work at all in July and August.

If memory serves, one of the early Honda Wings had an ammonia-based AC system. Anyone else recall this?   Monte

Keeping cool on a bike's no joke. I sold a bike I'd always wanted because of a serious heat-related design flaw - the BMW K1.

Loved everything about the bike, but once slowed by traffic after a high-speed run the coolant fan blew the already hot air from the rad over the exhaust and it all exited up through a four inch aperture aimed at the top of your left thigh.

If that bike had AC I'd probably have kept it...
