Title: flat tire

Yesterday morning i performed a valve adjustment on my R11S(23k miles)and after that i took it for a test ride into Red Rock canyon,where i got a flat tire.I was about 25 miles away from the city,so i had to use the original tire repair kit that comes with the bike(same as on the cars)
 The question is how good is this kit for motorcycle tire(i run my toyota for a years with the same)and should i ride or i have to change the tire?

How old is the tire ?

If it's relatively new, I would have it repaired with a patch on the inside of the tire .

It look prety ok to me.At least 1 year old and 4k miles.

Everyone's comfort level is a little different.  If I was just taking short trips on my R1100S I'd probably keep it for a while longer.  At least if I'm in range of my truck and trailer.  If I was to take a longer trip I'd probably change it out with a new one.  What is the aggravation of a breakdown in the boonies worth to you?

Bengt r11s is main main transportation,but i use it for short trips only.12 miles to work and 12 back
