Much is new including:

Icon shocks
Clutch
New original exhaust
Progressive spings/ bearings
front rotars
drive train/U bolt; all lubed gone over
carbs redone/ ultrasonic cleaning
seat recovered
tires/tubes/hand balanced
wheels painted/ weights painted to match
all cables
air box modification
battery
coil
headlight
rear pads
lots more
painted bodyparts and final assembly within 2 weeks

Original bike was <$4K.  I'm at 2x that with original purchase, parts and labor.  I clearly have airheaditis.

Spring can't come soon enough and it isn't even winter.

Peter,

What, exactly, did you modify in your airbox?  Are you using a different air filter element?  Or are you talking about the air injection system?

Alright, there they are !!!

Great job on the bike, do you have any 'before' pictures ?

I bought a red '84 LS about 6 months ago with 91,000 miles on it, and I can't decide how far to go, on restoring it .

You noted in your list, that you used an ultrasonic cleaner on the carbs, what kind of solution did you use, I tried a solution for aerospace aluminum, and all it did was darken the aluminum of the carbs .
