Trolle, if there's a Mrs Trolle, she's one understanding lady!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Nicely played.   Monte

I think Trolle has set the standard here and we all need to negotiate similar storage facilities.  It's only fair after all.

As i spend as much time as possible sleeping under canvas on the western trail i dont think i have a prayer of gettin the bike through the front door passed the wife. She may let me erect something in the back yard though.

I've had some previous success at smuggling. When I as a teenager still at home  I once smuggled a Fiat 500 engine upstairs and hid it under the bed. You remember when old fashioned beds were designed very tall to have plenty of space for a chamber pot underneath. It was quite a while before my mum found it.
Those beds were just great weren't they, I swear I could have got a whole bike under there.

I take it one didn't slid the chamber pot back under the bed after using it...  :-/

Somehow this thread is rapidly detoriating!

Let's talk standards instead:

My wife actually suggested that the WH8LA2 should spend the winter in our summer cottage! (I think that the mink fur she got last year was a good investment)

greetings from an almost sunny north

Ah...so it's not the same kitchen that Mrs. trolle occupies on a daily basis... ;)

That explains a lot!

Well yes.  They were only for use during the night and didn't get emptied until the morning so they were slid back under ...wouldn't want to accidentally put your foot in it while still in a daze ... of course I never had one under there while the Fiat 500 engine was in storage. That would have been very unhygienic.

Of course it would be love if she draped the mink over the R65!  But I digress...if I tried this with one of the BSA's my darling wife would would probably start yelling "Exterminate...Exterminate"   :o

My R65 is too big for the inards of our humble abode.

In a past life Yes!  In the current one she is only half British.  The other half is German...

My R65 lives outside in a carport and complains not!  It doesn't know any better.  (Better not meet LRB!   ;) )
