Title: My new boxer!!

Picked her up last Saturday, she's my new daily ride (traded in my GSX1400). Now the R65 has a bigger sister to talk to :D.  Ive been looking & drooling over the R1200R for a few yrs, & now ive got one in the garage [smiley=bmw_smiley.gif]....iam one happy chappy...

Very nice. Those beach scenes? that isnt down past Heidlburge on the coast there is it. Cant think of the beach.

Sweet!!  I've test ridden one of those, and was mightily impressed!  I believe that would have been the bike I would have purchased if I wasn't so smitten by the R1200C!   Lightweight, responsive, and REALLY quick, that R1200R pretty much has it all!  Excellent choice!   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

G'day Hunsta, the beach is in between Helensburgh & Wollongong, great bit of coast road, so many beach's to chose from.

Ha ha Helensburg. Not bloody Heilburg. Was born and bread in the eastern suburbs of Sydney but letf 20yrs ago for Qld. Ive never ridden that new section of road they biult. Used to surf along there every now and then. Was a local Maroubra surfer before they were called "Bra Boys".
 You going to the BMW Karuah River rally in Febuary? Will be taking the R65 this year, just hope it isnt going to piss down like last year. Didnt quite make it that year. LOL
