If you enjoy, as I do, the many different motorsports disiplines, then here's a site that will keep you informed as to TV broadcasts. TVRacer is the hot setup http://tvracer.com/
Today, Sunday 18 Oct 09, is the Australian round of MotoGP. I've included a photo of the incredible lean angles achieved by these 800cc bikes during the Aussie go; 55-60 degrees. Incredible!

I also enjoy the World Rally Championships, FIM Speedway, Isle of Man TT and a few other less well-publicized series. Unfortunately, most all of the mentioned motorsport series are now broadcast on the newest HD channels. Bummer... I no gots.
I already pay a pretty high price for fiber optic service to my TV, computer and telephone. I just cannot justify the bucks to purchase a new HD-capable TV plus the upcharge for HDTV packages.
At least many of the race series have great websites with video clips and race reports.
BTW, today, if you don't want your afternoon's MotoGP viewing pleasure ruined, do not go to their website http://www.motogp.com/ as the race has already been comleted. My guy won!

You must have been up early to watch MotoGp live or was it late to bed. I never miss it and just finished watching the re-run. Your man was very impressive in fact the two out front were in a class of their own.

Website, Barry.
I'll still suit up in my leathers to watch the same-day delay this afternoon. Wife does not approve of me rolling the R65 into the house just to sit on it while watching the races. Zoom zoom...

Well duh! Why not just put a tv in the garage? That's where most of us are happiest anyhow. Have to say that Mr. Stoner put the moves on Rossi yesterday. Great racing all around.

Was sorry to see Lorenzo go off during the first lap. IMO, he had the only chance to beat Rossi for the championship. Stranger things have happened... Monte
