Title: Battery that fits

Does anyone know if any auto parts of retail stores that I could find locally IE.. Advanced Auto Parts, Pep boys etc...would have a proper fitting battery? I can easily modify the battery box but I don't want to unless its the only option. Thanks in advance for the info.

MrRiden/Rich, got one on a road trip a few years ago, when his died on the road, I'm sure he can give you a retailer, and part number .

It's not a very common size battery .

Justin B., montmil, and myself recently got generic AGM batteries from Staab Batteries, 22 AH .

Today I went to Walmart, Local used motorcycle store MOM's and batteries plus on no one had a battery except Batteries Plus ($79.95) but larger than I needed so i ordered the one recommended by McRidden/ Mitch and it will be here this week. Then I will be ready to take it out a little further than a ten mile radius of the house. Thanks for the info.
