Title: Used my R65 a lot lately

I got my '81 R65 in order to beat the traffic blues and my on/off road Honda 200 simply wasn't up to the task of highway useage.

Last Friday I covered 163km (100 miles) around Johannesburg as I fetched my credentials from Kyalami then went to the Fire & Rescue Services Expo on the otherside of Jhb then I went to a heavy trailer expo.

Saturday & Sunday I was at the World Superbike event at Kyalami and total distance was 124 km.

On Monday & Tuesday I had to attend a truck conference and total mileage for the two days was 377km. Each day I was faced with a 6:30am start for a very cold 90km outbound trip which made it a total of 664km or just over 400 miles.

Best consumption I got was 13.6l for a 279km trip = 20,5km per litre.

That is good fuel mileage - your R65 must be happy and in pretty good tune!
