Although he does not post up too often, I do know for a fact that Larry Chabira, aka Lamont, Son of Sanford to his eBay customers, is a member of our R65 group. I bought my '83 R65 from this character.

In the latest issue of Ride Texas Magazine, who should I see behind those Buddy Holly horn-rims but... Lamont, uh, Larry! He wrote a very funny BBQ article for the magazine's (Almost) True Stories.

If you can score an issue, check out a brother.

And Larry, I've eaten at Opie's, too.

Larry had a front page picture, and an article in the Airheads Beemer Club monthly magazine, Airmail, about a year ago as well.

I keep showing up in the Airmail as well, but they keep reporting that I'm in Florida.  I've never been there and the guy they say is Ed Miller doesn't look like me.  But hey, it's fame.
