Sort of an annual tradition around here, usually started I think by Bob Roller. No word from him for a long time so I'll start out.
R65: 7,000 miles (up to 62,500 miles)
'70 Triumph Bonneville: 2,000 miles (up to 91,300 miles total)
A pretty poor year for me. I won't mention how many miles on my old Honda CRX and my '58 Chevy pickup because the books are out in the shop and I'm not. :D
I would whine about the weeks of snow in 2008, but I fear our members in Canada and the north east U.S. would mock me. Rightfully.

Well Ed, I think that I spent too much time working and not enough time riding, cuz even with your "low" numbers you even beat me:
Kawasaki Concours: 5200 miles
BMW R65: 1850 miles
Hopefully this year will see more sunny days spent on 2 wheels for all of us !
-
Hmm - well don't I feel just like the poor cousin?
3 200km on the R65
15 000km in the '74 Celica
Approx 1 000km walking / jogging (this year none of them pushing the bike!!! Victory!)

Hi
We've done allright: 6,200 km on the wh8la2 and hope to do more this year.
greetings from a grey, foggy and wet north

I've no clue what my numbers are.
I did have one of my best/worst years in a long time, though!
Boxerworks (http://www.pbase.com/tomfarr/boxerworks_rally_may_2008) rally in May. That is two days each way.
And in June I met a whole bunch of you in NC (?) at the Gathering of the Clans (http://www.pbase.com/tomfarr/gotc2008)! That is a long day trip for me.
Not too far from where the gathering took place, is Johnson City, TN., site of the MOA nat'l this year. That is closer for me. I hope to ride the R65 down, unless, by some miracle I get the XV920RH sorted out. In which case I would enjoy bringing it.
And of course, who can forget my worst ride of 2008 - Oct. 4...

I'm not sure about total milage, because I never kept any record in the past.
R65 : probably not more than 3 000 km - due to camshaft problem. The odometer also stopped working, so I can't keep any proper record at the moment.
Gpz 1100 : more than 12 500 km during the past 9 months ( I have reported an odometer reading of just over 57 000 - beginnig May). Current odometer reading - 69801
-
~7300 on the Honda Rebel
~4000 on the 650GS
~2800 on the Breva
And about 2000 miles combined on the others.
It would have been a little better had I ridden to SoCal and not wimped out and rode an Airbus.
-
Next year I can tell you 2009 mileage, I've just had my speedo restored and when they did it I asked for the speedo to be reset to 00000
-
To tell the truth, neither one of my bikes has a working odometer. My commute is about a hundred miles a day, so I make hash marks in my record books for each day I ride to work. For the rare longer trips, I just figure out how many miles it was and add the hash marks for that. I keep the marks right after the previous oil change so I know when to change the oil again. When I get around to installing Vapors or some other electronic unit I can be more precise, but this is good enough for now.
-
I've really got to get my odometer fixed now that my bike is running right. I hope to do a lot more mileage this year! ;)
-
I probably shouldn't even bother entering a mileage for 2008. It was the worst. Maybe a couple hundred miles at the most. :-[ But then I was laid up for 6 weeks from the end of April into June with a cast on my foot and then not being able to get my boots on until October.
I know, excuses, excuses. :-/ But 2009 will be different. I've got lots of plans! 8-)
-
Well, for 2008 it came to a shade over 4,000 miles for Britta. The fact that my commute to work is exactly 0.5 miles each way had a LOT to do with reduced mileage! ::)
My commute will probably go back up in 2009, since the house we are moving to at the end of this month is about 20 miles from my job. But I don't mind if I get to spend a little more time in the saddle! ;) (And riding my "dream bike" will make the commute that much sweeter!)

Well, LRB, the R65LS, got 1792 miles and the F650GS survived for 9749 miles. I still relate to miles more than KM. Old stick in the mud...me???
Like Rob I dearly hope to do "better" next season! And I don't mean mileage!

Which reminds me - time for my exercises (that I don't do enough... >:( )

My mileage as usual was quite pathetic considering the fact that I can ride all year long !!
R65 : 1487
R1150R : 2975
But I did turn 80,000 miles (131,000 km) on the R65, the second week of January this year.

It's like having a couple of faithful dogs - an older one that I baby and take for short comfortable jaunts not too far from home and a young husky strong one that loves the long hard runs that take me far far from home. We get lost sometimes but always eventually find our way back home.
81 R65 - 564 mi.
04 R1150R - 6284 mi.

Hi Neal - Are planning to go to the rally in Tennessee?
-
Yes, I plan on arriving at the rally on Thursday. Gonna take the week off and explore the Bryson City / Asheville area for a few days first. My brother and a friend are going with me. Are you gonna make it this year? I'm gonna try to remember to wear my R65 cap.

Yes, I am planning to go - should help improve my mileage figures for this year, too ! Not sure which bike I'll be riding on, but I do plan to be there sometime on Thursday at this point. I'm planning to camp on site, too and will bring all my R65 wardrobe.. :D

R65, still my only machine, 6950 miles. Would've been more. But we've had the least bike friendly winter for a long time :'(
