Just a few pics to show that motorcycle racing - in this case supermotard racing, is alive and well locally.
I took a few pics of a race whick took place in the streets of Pinetown - about 15 km from Durban, during the past weekend.........

Now that's some more racing I'd like to see! Looks like a fun time!

Was this a race that had racers from all over the world, or more of a local/club race ?
Reminds me of the old fashioned "superbike" races from the 70s - 80s - my favorite kind of racing, I think like the Isle of Mann

This was a National supermoto event, and around 150 riders from our country took part in this penultimate round of the season.
Earlier this year a similar race took place on the same "circuit", and the event is becoming very popular locally - it delivers excellent racing and exitement.

These days, I ride a whole lot slower. Monte
