Title: Tech session yesterday..
Post by: Semper Gumby on August 24, 2008, 08:57:08 AM
Not-So-Fast-Ed and I attended a BMWMOGA tech session yesterday in Winder GA.  I adjusted the valves on the R65 and synched the carbs using a ATF manometer.  This worked great.  3/8" clear hose in a big loop nailed to a board with no resevoir.  Worked really well once you got the hang of it.  Looked like it cost all of about 5 bucks.  I will make one and post a picture.  Too cool.

TTFN,

Went through my files today and came up with this Airheads article.  Let's see if I can post the links...

In the spirit of Bali Beemer I'm havin' my own tech day! Heres my DE-LUX $5 manometer. I'd love to see someone come up with a White / Silver stick with blue fluid & maybe a roundell to top it off!!

It seems to me that the two stroke oil I have in my comparative manometer is blue, or blueish green anyway.

But if you put a roundel on it, will it work for your Triumph?
