Post by: Isaac on July 08, 2008, 06:18:26 PM
Wasn't there somebody on the forum who had original shop manuals for sale? I think I remember seeing it on somebody"s signature

I believe it was Rob Valdez, and it was the owners manual that came with the bike, not a shop manual.

It seems I remember somebody was scanning in the factory maintenance manual but can't remember who.

It's not in my signature, although I suppose it should be. ;)

The owner's manuals are small, chock-full of good information, and readily available from any BMW parts outlet.

The factory shop manual has lots of nice clear photos of a brand new motorcycle being dismantled and reassembled using all of the official BMW factory tools and nomenclature.  It assumes the reader has gone through the BMW service school (for airheads...).  It is also not readily available, and it is expensive when it is.
