[size=12]Because my precious Grama Helen has finally left this mortal coil behind http://www.pbase.com/joanmarie/image/28275154, I've got a couple of weekends this month that are now FREE to go riding.
There's a little party I want to ride to in Chico CA, however, the '83 Blueberry still has that busted turn signal switch. >:(
Two applications of epoxy haven't fixed it; the tiny switch ear inside, not quite as big as a pencil eraser, doesn't have enough purchase to adhere permanently to the goop.
Anyone else break their itty bitty, eensy switch ears and fix them successfully?
(Apologies if I've already asked this question, lost some brain cells last week to about a gallon of vodka. :P)

How much does a new switch cost? That's one thing I've been spared, anyway. But I'm sure I'll wear mine out.
Sorry about your grandma.

Thanks, Darling Ed. :-*
Hmmm. Okay. I'll look for a part number. I guess I'm even foggier than I thought! :o

Yo Joan, here's a good lookin', used, complete right-side control unit listed on Fleabay, that looks d*mn near new already.
Lots of handy spare parts there, it's even from another '83! ;)

Yeah, I saw those, but the Blueberry's toggle button is black or super dark brown, pretty much looks like a different style than the one in the ebay ad as well. Humpf!

Thanks for the hot lead!
Hmmm... I heard back from Mr Caliman, and he swears the things worked perfectly a week ago before he or someone binned the front end. Take a look at his "other items" for sale and there's a sad photo.

The orange (or black or brown) part is held on with one screw. You could put your old one on the new switch!
I am pretty sure there was only one TYPE of switch assembly for this era. They should interchange.
