Hello,
This is my new member post.  I don't have a bike of any type now, but I am looking at the R65.  Long ago I had an R50 and an R75/6.  I want to get back into biking and only a BMW will do.  I was looking hard at the F 650's but price is always a factor and I always liked the 'airheads' anyway.  The R65 seems about right for the kind of riding that I will mostly do.  
So I am just looking and gathering information now.  This site looks like a good place to be for R65 info.

Welcome aboard John!  You have come to the right place.  There are many knowledgeable folks here that can answer just about any R65 question you may have.

Since winter is setting in at these latitudes quite a few of us have more time to chat now as we aren't out riding !
