Preliminary static tests look promising! Next test is aerodynamic analysis at moderate speed. ;)

I guess you could always tell folk that its the worlds first wind powered BMW, and is a serious attempt to cut down on Green house gasses.

Now if that was a solar panel array, I could justify it, but I personally would not drive up to a local biker bar with your 'modification' installed ! I can only imagine what kind of comments your adult children are making with your latest idea ! Something like, mom, we're really not related to the old crazy guy that lives in your bedroom are we ! Or,  please tell us that we're adopted, PLEASE !!!

Rob & Bob
I really think you are being harsh. This setup looks quite well when wearing plaid golf pants  ;D

That is so cool...........think I will have to get one. Think black with the BMW logo on it will look good on my bike. Sure could have used it..........the other night when we got 10 inches of rain in 4 hours here in Marble Falls.  But wasn’t bad compared to the 19 they got on the other side of town.  Stayed high and dry but for awhile I thought I might have to used the sidecar as a boat.  Hummmmm wonder if I tied the kayak to the cycle..........could have turned it into a catamaran.

When you fold it and mount it horizontal you can go jousting with cages!  Imagine the fun!  :D

I thought it was customary to use a scantily clad girl to mount an umbrella over a bike!

After seeing the 'mount' suggested by lowen I have decided it necessary to study his example further  in great detail. I may be unavailable for a while  [smiley=smiley.gif]
