Title: Cinema
Post by: MrRiden on June 19, 2007, 05:48:39 PM
Well I'm on a quest. Just discovered that my little camera can take videos with a $12 upgrade. I'm even now trying to create a mount using my windshield fasteners (visible in vid). Paging Bob Roller, are you equipped to weld? My test video, compressed at 10:1 here

the original is much sharper.

Rich,
Cool video!  That will be so cool when you have it mounted and can take videos of your rides.    8-)

Rob,
Doctor?   :-?  I think Daughter.  Doesn't your daughter have pink hair?   ;D  Oops.  Sorry, don't mean to laugh.  (mmmmphhmmmmphhh   :-X )  Actually, Rich, your daughter is really cute and the pink hair actually doesn't look bad at all with the black scarf.   ;)

glad i didnt say anything about your daughter! i do dig on the retro cafe rocker thing and the black outfit and the pink hair are a little on the rocker pychobilly thing.

funny you said that about your camera because i found ours had the same thing, my kids thought i was dumb cuz they already knew we had it on the camera.

you can get a RAM mount for a camera that will clamp to the bars and provide some adjustment and vibration damping.

you could also fab something with a U bolt and some other bracketry.

I knew that my camera did it before I punched "Buy It Now" on eBay.

$140.00  reman.

It will record video for as long as the memory lasts or the power source dies.

This is my only video posting on YouTube. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFWcHW_aRZk) I try not to go anywhere without it.

I still say your bike's too clean!  ;)  How did you get "stuck" with ATE calipers?  I thought all of the later models had Brembos?

Yea Justin, I always heard that I'm s'pos to have Brembos but there they are. I've also got 2 seperate bosch coils. I'm not the original owner so I think someone did some refitting along the way. I've put the camera mount on the side for now [werkin' on the seat] but iI do have a mount planned out that will fasten to my windshield brackets when It's not fitted. Just need to run down some quality time with a welding rig.
