Title: Shirts
Post by: Lowen on May 17, 2007, 05:07:06 PM
A good friend of mine(who used to own a R65 and I met thru this forum years ago) now owns a silk screening shop. I'm going to have him print me up a black shirt with the R65 logo on the front in white if anyone else is interested let me know and I'll talk to him about price and shipping and what not.

Sounds good.

Shirts with pockets always get worn more than those without, in my wardrobe...

I'm in too, but I don't like pockets.  So count Rob out.  Yeah, that's right.

Yeah!  That would be neat.  Count me in.   I'm with Ed, though, in that I don't like pockets either.

Sorry, Rob.

Lowen, you got any pics of what they will look like?  Pocket or no pocket in XXXL - in fact no pocket is better so there is nothing to catch chips from the mill and lathe!

I'm in.  No pockets.

I'm in for a no pockets if its not to silly to send it over the pond to England.

Aw, C'mon Justin, catching a hot chip in yer pocket right off the mill is part of the experience. Also great amusement for bystanders as you invent new dance steps trying to shake the bugger out.
Don't really care 'bout pockets or no but... maybe R65.org on the shirt? Just a thought. I'm still in for a large whatever comes.

Hey I want one!
Title: Re: Shirts
Post by: Melena on May 23, 2007, 11:51:01 PM
Where is Sue?  I'm sure she'd like one too.  And Joan, what about you?  Hey Arla, wouldn't you like one too?  I'm sure we can get quite a few who would like one.  May have to have Justin put a sticky on this so it stays at the top for awhile until everyone knows about this.

Lowen, did you know what you might have gotten yourself into when you started this idea?   ;D  But it's fun.  We did it with the patches, of which I have about 8 left out of 100 after 2 1/2 years.   But with those we had to buy a whole batch at once to get a good price.

Let us know how you want us to order one.   [smiley=smiley.gif]

Joan doesn't need a shirt - she's got the tatoo that means she can go  ---  shirtless?   :o

Post by: SCJJR65 on May 24, 2007, 06:49:00 PM
Yeah, this is kind of what we went thru with "the patches", huh?   :P

BTW, do we have any patches left that I might could try and sell at the RA rally, Melena?

I still owe Melena ::)...I keep forgetting...but not obviously right this very minute because I just remembered! A T-shirt would be great....pocket or not. I'm in but let's just let Lowen pick the design and just be happy with whatever he comes up with.

Maybe I need to ride to California and pay Melena back!

Hi Guys,

Stuie here (Lowens friend with the tee shirt shop)

I have some time to make these guys up now.

I'll give you guys some options and make the shirts up custom for ya.

I'll do 2 logos. (the same as linked in previous reply)

1. A small R65 logo the size of a business card for a L/H chest position.
2. A larger R65 logo about 5x8in which can be centered on the front or back of the shirt.

For shirts that are size sm-xl the shirt would be $20 shipped. 2XL and larger cost me significantly more so it will be $25 shipped.

Place your order through PayPal and tell me the size/sizes you want and white or black shirt/s, pocket or no pocket.

If I get 20 ordered by Friday at noon, I can get the shirts and do them over the weekend for Monday or Tuesday shipping back to you guys.

I'm picking up a '74 R75/6 this weekend that I got in a trade so, I will be BMW biked again for a little while  :)

My PayPal acct is under stuie[at]antstuie.com to place an order.

Good to meet you guys!
Stuie

I'd be interested in a shirt - are these 100% cotton or blend (trying to determine whether to
"size-up" or not to counteract potential shrinkage in the laundry) ?
 :)

Post by: Justin B. on May 31, 2007, 10:22:57 PM
Stuie, whassup!?  I could probably go for a grey or black 3X.  I think the small on left chest and larger on the back sounds pretty good.  Of course, you could always experiment on me with a couple of samples and I wouldn't even charge you for letting everybody know how great they are!  Oh, put me down for a 3X as mentioned...

OBTW, did you ever do the movie you were working on when I came over and looked at that R60 you had for sale?

I ordered mine.  The cool cartoon kid has my money.  You guys are holding up my shirt now.  At least hold it up where I can see it!   :D

If you would have just went ahead and paid for mine while you were at it then everything would be just fine!  ;) So, it ultilmately is your fault!!  ;D

Hey guys,

Checking in.

Tony, I am not sure. Give me your address and I will find out. My email is stuie[at]antstuie.com. I am sure I can get it there for you. I am thinking I can get it to you for no extra charge but, I'll confirm when I get your address.

The shirts are 100% cotton preshrunk. I believe they are cut "American style" I am 240# and comfortably wear an XL with room to spare.

Hi Justin, I can't remember if it was the first hard flick we did called Birthdays or if it was the Repo Man sequel which went awry and became Texas Tale. We did finish two of them and I am on vacation from filmmaking for a while. Some cool reviews in UK punk rock mags and one in the Salt Lake City mag called "Slug". Search "A Texas Tale of Treason" for a trailer.

Thanks again for the order Ed. I need to get everyone's order in line real quick as it's a 60 mile round trip to the shirt warehouse so i need to get 'em all at once.

Can everyone get their orders in by Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday?

I just have Ed so far and it will help to get 'em done all at once for anyone that wants one.

You guys call it.

All best!
Stuie

I think it was the "Repo Man" sequel...  I'll have to check out your new scoot some day.

Money's "in the mail", so to speak...

If they are beefy 100% cotton, I'm in for a L.
Either pocket or no pocket....
Title: Re: Shirts
Post by: Stuie on June 01, 2007, 11:47:20 AM
Hey Tony,

Add $3 USD to whatever you want from the pricelist above and that'll get it to UK. I factored in the shipping here for the states and it's only $3 more to get it to you.

Anyone that wants a shirt... See the above post with payment details. I gotta use the prepaid money to buy the materials to make 'em (shirts, gas to get 'em ink etc.)

Thanks for the payment Justin. Yep, "A Texas Tale of Treason" is what became of the Repo Man sequel. People seem to like it but distributors won't touch it... I think I did a good job bagging on the movie industry in the flick and the writer of the script.

Good reviews out of the UK though. Look for TrakMarx.com (issue 28)and DistortedMagazine.com (March issue) or IMDB comments.

Stuie -

Plan on a XL black shirt for me (pocket or not, I don't care).
I'm trying to send ya some $$ - the doggone paypal site isn't
responding through my ISP now for some reason....  but, I'll
get through somehow - it worked for the part I bought from Justin
last night.

No worries,

I don't think I'll make it to the warehouse until Monday so if it doesn't work today, tomorrow or Sunday may work.

Best

Stuie,
I'd like to get one, but I don't do PayPal.  Any way I can send you a check?

If this works out, I would like an XL, no pocket.

I'll PM you.

Troy,
I take care of the patches.  PM me and I'll give you the info.

Made the film for the shirts today. Will burn the screens tomorrow. Wednesday at noon will be the order cut off. Thanks for your orders so far!

Any more UK guys if there are any more, will need to change the $3 extra shipping charge to $10. If anyone does any overseas or domestic business, the USPS did away with the regular airmail (for overseas) and ground shipping (first class domestic).

Just found that out today. I will honor the two UK orders placed already!

Looking forward to getting your shirts done and to you!

Best

Yeah, Stuie, I plumb forgot about the shirt until I got back from the RA rally Sunday.  Sorry I missed the boat this time.  If you do decide to get up another order, I'll definitely get one!  Promise!!

Got mine in the mail today!   [smiley=clap.gif]  Looks great!   Thanks Stuie!

Now to find a place to wear it where someone will understand what it is!   ;D   I'll wear it to the Autumn Beemer Bash in Quincy, for sure.  No other rallys that I'm going to until then.

Stuie, don't get rid of your screens for this one.  I'm sure there will be more people that will want them now that some of us  have them.  I'm sure there will be enough people to make it worth while to do at least one more batch, and probably more as people are joining the forum.   We will have to post some pictures of us wearing them.  Maybe make a sticky thread with just pictures of us in our cool t-shirts.   ;D

Thanks Stuie !

No Sweat guys and gals.

Thanks again for the biz!

There are a couple people that missed the order and I can't really save the screens because I have a limeted number of them that get recycled for each job but, if 10 more people will order, I'll make em up and crank more out.

Doug and Antonio want one... Scrounge 8 more and I'll kick out another round.

I bet the UK shirts will arrive any time. I send DVD's to UK often and it generally was taking 4-5 days to make it.

Would dig checking out your new bike Justin. I just got a '97 Triumph Tiger from a buddy. A couple friends and I are starting to plan a West Texas Ghost Town search adventure ride which we will film...

Big Bend area... should be cool!
