Coming out of lurk mode.... I had posted a couple of times on the old r65.org site. Just registered here - this new forum looks great, lots of activity, new names & bikes, etc.
Still riding vicariously, though.
Hmmm.... maybe I can get my bike back on the road? I mean, I WILL get it on the road! Been to a few tech days in the past, & to last year's Airhead SuperTech Weekend in PA. So far, I've just started disassembling the carbs for a rebuild, bit by bit; and bought tires & tubes.
I'll keep you posted.

Welcome, Charlie !
Don't be afraid to ask questions, we're generally a helpful, if sometimes slightly disorganized bunch here.
Check out the Frappr map link and post your location - you may see some other members not so far
away from you, too !
:)

Go for it, Charlie! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
There are several knowledgeable guys and gals here who can give you help along the way if you should get stuck getting your bike roadworthy again. I think a few of us have pretty much rebuilt our bikes from the ground up before (not me, mind you )! ::)
We hope you will be able to have your bike running soon so you can enjoy the upcoming riding season! 8-)

Hello from England :)
Good luck on getting a bike back on the road.

Thanks to all for the support.
And a funny thing happened today. One of my my brothers, who hasn't ridden in about 22 years (and never legally) announced he was thinking of getting a bike & starting to ride again. No Harley for him, like two of our other brothers have - he said something "mid-sized".
Hmmmm.... I thought to myself, we'll have to start looking for another r65!
Best regards
