I posted a couple of months ago in my project thread about having run across Paul Rooney (who lives an hour or so down the road) during my search for original bits and pieces for my bike and Paul helped me out with a bunch of stuff but also spent a lovely afternoon chatting with me about all things BMW and R65 in particular. He’s a total legend, but he’s also a really humble, quietly spoken, genuinely nice bloke.
I’ve seen a couple of his bikes pop up for sale but here is another one and if I had $10K hanging around spare, I’d be all over it! Bargain buying at that rate.

It’s still registered as an R65 (it’s quite possibly the donor for some of the bits on my bike!) so I thought you guys might appreciate it.
