Does anyone remember or can look and see whether the adjustment lever faces out or in towards the wheel on those original OEM Boge rear shocks? Lowest position for me! I am hoping they are soft enough springs on these old originals to sag the bike down when I get on!!
Remember I will not be hitting the track with LRB!

I put the Boge shocks facing inwards towards the wheels to get the handles away from heat of exhaust. AND......they allow for much more SAG when I sit on the bike so I am happy with a fair bit of leg bend compared to the Konis in their lightest position. Both Boge & the Konis are set in lightest position and both were as close as 2mm difference in height to get them on. Just a wee tweak to get the bolts back in!! The bike sags still so much LESS than the old 1988 Honda NX250 with original shocks. Now that is a soft ride!

Right from 1982 BMW leaflet ...with a picture I can't attach.
the lever is facing the wheel with the softest position.
Hope this helps.
