I tried to order Betors from Motobins but they didn't have heavier duty springs and seemed uninterested in obtaining any.

I ended up writing directly to the Betor factory and found them very helpful and happy to assist. I bought a pair of Betors and I was expecting to have to pull them apart and change seals and fluids to get them working satisfactorily.

That proved to not be the case, Betor would seem to have learned something in the 40 odd years since I last owned a pair - it used to be a truism that "Betor shocks are better than nothing - but not by much!". It is no longer true.

I've had betors on the R65 for about 2 years now and for a cheapish set of basic shocks I am quite pleased with them.
