I received an email from O'Reilly's auto parts store last week, they have Autolite and Delco platinum and iridium sparkplugs on sale through the end of this month .
With the sale price and a manufacturers mail in rebate the prices of the Autolite double platinum plugs are about the same as standard plugs, $1.99 each .
I need new plugs for the oilhead, they have been installed, for 46,000 miles, 75,000 km .
I use standard NGK plugs in the R65's .

NGK BP7ES in all three of my Airheads. Bosch quality has gone into the dumper as the German mothership contracts out production to the cheapest bid. India. Russia, anyone?

I bought some "P-ring' Russian sparkplugs once to try in my VW. They were on special at 0.50c each so I wasn't expecting much and sadly I wasn't disappointed. I still have 4 unused ones that I will give to someone I really dislike one day.

Hello !
aa few month ago, I ordered parts from BMW internet shop. In order to reach the free shipping barrier, I added a couple of spark plugs to the list.
I got Bosch plugs made in .... Germany ! So it seems all is not lost ;)
I still have 4 N6Y Champion plugs I bough ages ago when the nearest auto parts store closed for retirement. I'm fed for ages...
