Title: New paint pics and headers question!

Hello folks!
Well, after a bunch of years struggling against mechanical demons, I finally felt good enough to spend some money on make up! Here's the result!!!

One of the pending subjects are the headers... I took mine and re chromed them but it didn't work out very well so I'm thinking about getting a new set...
Does anyone have any experiences to share on double walled pipes such as these

Or should I go for the stock pipes?

Thanks, the colour was picked after a Pacto helmet (made by a good friend down here in CR) that I have... Look for Pacto helmets if you like good replicas from the 60s....

Now, regarding one thing or the other, besides the discolouring and some carb adjustment, is there any advantage (in your opinion on) of going one way or the other? What do you think?
