Found this this morning .
I have never seen it sold before .
It's for speedometers with the reset in the glass face .

Thanks Bob!
I had sourced and industrial button cover that was close, but hadn't bought it yet - now I find that mine has given up the ghost this spring, so despite the price, I'll probably be buying this - at least one, maybe a spare!

The price is bit on the high side, but not available anywhere else !!!
I'll be ordering two, probably last me until I can't ride anymore . ;)

Hello Bob,
This is not new !
It has been discussed at length on AdvRiders where the inventor and maker posted.
See http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/bmw-odometer-reset-buttons.361995/
for a discussion and a fitting instruction. In pictures.
Good read !

This was the first time I saw this part for sale .
Members have mentioned having to come up with alternative parts to replace the OEM part, as it becomes hard or torn after 15-20 years in service .
Especially so in the incessant heat here in the desert southwest US .

Bobs BMW sells both the rubber bit and the plastic tube nut to which it attaches.  I was going to get this from 2valve when they had just started business, but they were slow getting the order out and the Bobs option replaces more perishable parts.

That failed rubber boot is what let the water in that rusted up my odometer and trip meter.
