When I have the bike on center stand and front wheel in air if wheel is straight or to the left the wheel spins like butter, once I turn it about 10-20 degrees to the right it binds at one spot and slows the wheel. It does this all the way to full lock on the right side. I checked the break rotor it appears to have no warping. Do you think its the break line. I checked and nothing is pinching or even moving when the bars are turning? It is a very slight dragging so it really doesn't effect the ride but not sure long term what it might be doing. What say ye?

Check for top hat type spacers on the right caliper, where the bolts go through the fork leg .
There are different thickness flanges to get the caliper centered on the rotor .

Take your disc pads out and I'll bet it doesn't happen any more.
But if it is not a loose pad "leaning" on the disc, then the next suspect is your axle nut not be tight or a bearing in the process of failure.

I'm going to take a punt and say check your wheel bearings.

Bob, I've been putting up with this for a few years and it's had me scratching my head. The wheel bearings are good (and I'd thing the ball bearings in the LS wheel wouldn't care as much about axle torque). Now I wonder if swapping the top and bottom caliper tophat spacers will fix the problem (and is what caused the problem in the first place) [smiley=wall.gif]
Question is, why the heck would BMW make the left hand caliper simply bolt up to the fork and stay centered while the right side needs special shimming?
