Title: Checking valves on 84 R 65

Quick question I was reading the clymers book,it said that when I adjust the valves first put bike in top dead center I get it.What confuses me is that the book says to do the other side repeat the same procedure.There is a window on the left ,what about the right side what are they taliking about.Sorry for all of these questions but the beemer is different then my harley.I know i will figure it out but ,Its easier to ask yall gurus:)

I did the hole in the timing cover and use hex wrench on the rotor bolt  trick to make it easier to turn the Motor over.
I made the hole the same size as the timing hole so I can use the same plug.
Only using this method with the spark plugs out of course ::)

I'll hold my hands up to that.

It's quite an education on 2 fronts: 1. not to do it again and 2. don't attempt to remove it without stopping the engine !

It's quite poetic watching how slowly the thing rotates at idle so I recommend everyone do it at least once.
