How about telling how you prepped your rims to accept  a tubeless valve, and what valve (size, manu. etc) you used.

Here is a thread I did about it when I switched from Metzeler's to Avon's
Like I said in the  thread I am very happy to be rid of tubes.  ;D

Tubeless running on my 1981 R65 for years without any issues. Have forgotten the source but have valve stem with a slight angle that gains space between stem nozzle and wheel web.

Check on-line for the stems. Specs will tell you what dimension the rim opening must be. Obviously, you'll ream and fit the stem from the interior prior to mounting the tire.

It would be nice if somebody would make a thread on the conversion and put it in the technical/FAQ section.  I'm tempted to do mine almost every time I change tires.

I wouldn't mind doing that but I don't plan on a tire swap anytime soon.

Finally decent weather.. shouldn't you be piling up the miles?  I know I'm trying to while I have the chance.
