Title: tachometer bulbs

hi everyone, i'm replacing the bulbs in my tachometer and need help..I've got the back off & the bulbs removed in the black bulb holders but  how do the bulbs  come out of the holders? They don't slide out easily & I don't want to force them..there seems to be a brass holder they sit in..does it come out with the bulb?

The bulbs come out of the holder, they are not part of it .
