Hi.
I need to do some work on the loom, but I am having difficulty tracking down the correct wire color combinations. Anyone know where I can source appropriate cable in the UK? I am after the grey and black wire that runs between parking lamp etc.
Thanks!

Vehicle wiring products do slate/black which sounds like it might be the right colour.

Perfect!!
Many thanks!

Just looking at the schematic in my Haynes manual....punctuating the slate/black cable running from the parking lamp to the connector block, is the number .75. Does this refer to mm squared, or if not, ??? :-?

Yep.

Nice one!
Now, it appears I can only get cable at either .5mm (11amps), or 1mm (16.5amps). What would be preferable? I'm assuming 1mm at the mo...

The wiring harness pretty much standardizes on 0.75mm2 regardless of need but in the particular case of the parking lamp 0.5mm2 would be more than big enough. There is no chance that the parking lamp could draw 11 amps.
To get deeper into electrical circuit design the only other consideration is that in the case of a short circuit the loop resistance is low enough to blow the fuse. 0.5mm2 cable has slightly higher resistance but the length of wire is so short that it wouldn't remotely be a problem.

Thanks guys!
That's why I love the forum!! ;D

and of course...they only do .5mm in slate, and not slate and black!!
They do 1mm in slate and black however...?? >:(
Stay true to the colour scheme and go with 1mm slate/black, or, slate grey .5mm??!

The bigger cable will function fine, it's going to be slightly larger in diameter that's all.
