So I actually just need the rubber part in this picture it complete my brake rebuild. Any thoughts on a source? I see in the Fiche "Cup for ATE", is this that same cup? I know some parts are interchangeable between these Brembos and the ATEs.
-
No idea if the ATE parts would fit the Brembo... but for good prices on Brembo bits, try these two outfits:

Your Airhead won't know the diff.

No the Ate and Brembo dust covers are different but to check for more info look at an excellent post done by Julio comparing the Ate and Brembo calipers.

So our R65's have the Brembo F08 with 38mm piston?
-
36mm on R45/R65's
Other airheads that use dual piston calipers were 38mm
In both cases up to 1985
-
ok 36mm... any recommendations on where to find the dust covers? I checked on the 2 websites above and they only carry 32mm and 38mm rebuild kits.
-
Motobins have an overhaul kit but I notice they are currently out of stock

found a rebuild kit for the 36mm via MaxBMW... $41 bucks a small rice to pay to actually have my bike stop.

Cheaper than a new pair of boots.
Dragging feet is what I see lottsa H-D riders doing as they pull up to a traffic light. ::)
