Title: Alternate brake caliper for a '79?
Post by: Armen on April 11, 2013, 05:15:45 PM
Any semi-bolt-on calipers out there for a '79 single disc brake? Mine needs lots of love. Might make more sense to replace/upgrade it.
Not asking permission, only information.
thanks,

Brembo calipers from the later year R65's will bolt right on and parts are available, unlike the ATE calipers .

If I remember correctly, the early K75's had the same Brembo caliper, but I would check on that before purchasing one .

I believe that the dimension between bolt centers are 108 or 109 mm .

The Brembo used on the later R65 is near identical to the ATE and perhaps more commonly available.
