Title: Starter switch connector

Hi all,

Have a slight problem, the bike wont turn over i have traced the problem to teh starter switch which i stripped down cleaned etc. Still no joy. The blue and yellow cable is rotten to teh core. so thats going to be replaced. but the connectors in the white connector (the one that attaches to teh frame) are also rotten. Any idea what will fit. on other non frame mounted ones i have just used normal automotiver connectors but ideally want to keep these frame mounted ones. will the connectors in the following link work?

Sadly im getting the bike going again to sell her! so if anyone knows of anyone who wants an R65 mono with lots of upgrades such a dynatech coil and NGK leads. Loads of work done over the years. But i just dont use her anymore. and am hoping to bye a VW T25.

The Mate-N-Lok connectors will work just fine. However, to crimp the wire and the outer sheath using this style connector -which you will find all through the BMW wire harness- requires the use of a special, ie: $$, tool. I have used them in the past by doing my own ghetto-style crimping... which worked but is tedious to do properly.
