Title: engine mount bolts
Post by: Air4Life on January 25, 2013, 07:40:40 PM
Does it seem odd that after 10K miles or so that only one of the four's torques would be off, off, by quite a bit?

I don't think it's usual to have the engine mountings slacken off. I torque mine well below spec and they don't move.

It's certainly odd in that if one has loosened off the opposing one should also be loose unless the spindle is seized.

Well, at least I have come to learn how to tell when they have come off torque, as the vibration at the telltale rpm became noticeable again.
