Both fuses are 8 amp rated .

Here's a picture of the fuse box on my Guzzi, same type fuses as the R65 .

I believe they are called 'ceramic fuses', many owners have changed the R65 fuse box to modern variations that takes blade fuses. You can then use a 10 amp fuse (although 7.5 amp blade fuses are probably available.
I used the extra slots for a fuse for my rewired headlight relays and a spare.

The Narva fuse box has the same terminals as the BMW original so you don't even have to change any wiring.

I upgraded the wiring to the headlight, high and low beams, so that I get power straight from the battery, the original headlight wiring becomes the activating wires that switch the power through the 2 extra relays.

It worked amazing on my old guzzi that had tiny wiring from the factory but didn't improve the R65's light output noticably. I guess it takes the load off the switchgear if nothing else.
